【香港人STAFF/Annie】My First Visit to Takamatsu

Hello everyone, this is Annie from Hong Kong^_^
I have started my working holiday in Japan since last Sunday. Eita Language Shelter is my first stop and I will stay there for two months.

It is my first time to visit Takamatsu and I am very excited of exploring different beautiful sites here. The outlook of Takamatsu Station attracts me a lot because there is a smiley face on the top (^o^)

I and Clara joined the volunteer activity on 25 September and greeted the tourists who came to Takamatsu by the big cruise ship “Princess Diamond”. It was fun and we enjoyed communicating with people from different countries.

On the next day, I spend my daytime to walk to the Kitahama Alley from pier. The sky and the sea are so blue, and I feel so relaxed to see such a good view.

In Kitahama Alley, there are many cafes and small shops which are unique and stylish. I love the artistic atmosphere there, so I have taken a lot of pictures!

“Umie” is my favorite cafe in Kitahama Alley because the food and drinks are yummy! Also, I enjoy having my meal with the sea view which makes me so comfortable and calm.

After having a light meal in Umie Cafe, I walk along and buy some souvenirs in the shop.

I can’t wait to join the volunteer activities of Setouchi Triennale and visit to different islands with my friends who will come to Takamatsu from Hong Kong too!

Then, I go back to the shopping street and eat the popular ice-cream recommended by Clara. I have chosen the flavour of “Grand Pistachio” which is so delicious! I will try other flavours also next time(^ν^)

There are still many places to explore in Takamatsu. I am looking forward to visiting all of them in these two months ^_^ Next time, I will share more about my trip in Takamatsu with you!
